How rewards work

A score gives you a placing. Your placing gives you a fixed prize.

Every prize is published before a campaign starts. Scoring is done by a real person, in the open. No algorithm, no black box.

01

Post

Submit your content for the campaign. Each piece is reviewed on its own.

02

Scored

A real person reads your post against a published rubric. You earn points.

03

Ranked

Points sort you on the live board. More points, higher placing. Ties go to the higher rank.

04

Paid

Every placing has a fixed prize, set before the campaign opens. Paid in USDC.

Your prize is set by your placing, not by your point total. Points only decide where you finish.

Points and prizes are not the same thing

Points decide your place.
Your place decides your prize.

What points do

Sort you on the board. Higher points, better placing. That is their only job.

What your place does

Unlock a fixed prize, set before the campaign opens. Your place is the key.

What scores well, and what scores zero

Scores well
  • Original insight or a genuine take
  • Content that fits the campaign brief
  • Clear, well-crafted writing
  • Real audience engagement (capped, so farming does nothing)
Scores zero
  • Copy-paste or AI-generated filler
  • Off-brief or irrelevant content
  • Fake engagement or bot traffic
  • Spam

Engagement is capped at a fair threshold. Genuinely viral content is never penalized. Manufactured engagement just adds nothing past the cap.

Published rubric

You see the scoring criteria before you post.

Human reviewer

A real person reads every submission, not an algorithm.

Your rank is your reputation

Never out-scores content

Your rank is your Contently score. Every post you submit gets scored, and those points build your reputation, lifting you from Contributor to Luminary. A higher rank unlocks more posts per week. It never beats better content: in every campaign you win on quality alone, so a Contributor with a sharp post can out-place a Luminary with a lazy one. Followers count separately as Reach.
